The 2018 Hyundai Tucson Adds Advanced Technology Features

The striking new 2018 Hyundai Tucson offers an appealing design and the latest technology and safety features, adding to the SUV's considerable appeal to today's car shoppers. With an exterior that now features LED headlights, taillights and accent lights, as well as LED daytime running lights, HID headlights with dynamic bending light, door approach LED lights and 17-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, the Tucson is sure to demand attention wherever you take it.

New for the 2018 model year, the Tucson adds a 7-inch audio display system with HD radio and Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility. Additional amenities include hands-free smart liftgate with auto open, proximity key entry with push-button start, enhanced navigation system, HomeLink, panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming inside rearview mirror and dual automatic temperature control with Clean Air Ionizer and auto defogger.

The Sonata is available in five trim levels: SE, SEL, SEL Plus, Value and Limited. Hyundai has equipped the Tucson with two engine options, starting with a 1.6-liter turbocharged direct-injected four cylinder that comes paired to a seven-speed EcoShift® dual clutch transmission that's available for the Value and Limited models. There's also a 2.0-liter direct-injected four cylinder that mates with a six-speed automatic transmission, which is standard issue for the SE, SEL and SEL Plus trim levels.

At Gene Messer Hyundai, we're proud to serve drivers from throughout the greater Lubbock area.
